Day 25, June 18 th: Hanoi

A home day. Last night Enni had the fever causing us stay home for the day. We didn't want to risk the next weekends gettaway in any way so we decided to go to the clinic downstairs to check the fever situation. The doctor also wanted to check Enni's ears, nose and throat and take a blood sample. Everything came out just fine, with a little high white cell count to which the doctor ordered some antibiotics, which to me seemed a little too harsh.

So, the day's agendawas to entertain the little princess for the 10 hours. We watched some TV, read some books and played some games and handicrafts. In the evening we had some dinner at the apartment in the form of a frozen pizza. Afterwards we went out to have a cup of coffee. We walked a few blocks away from the apartment and went into a small cafe for some frozen coffee.

On the way to the cafe we saw a street dedicated to mannequin shops. That was pretty weird...!

The smallest Vic's Secrets store I've ever seen!

Later back at the apartment we tried to watch the Anthony Bourdain No reservations (Hong Kong) to get some tips for the weekend gettaway but the internet connection here is rather awfull. The speed is 2Mbit/s dl and 0,9Mbit/s dl. This morning the figures were 1,12/1,29. This gave us a watching eperience of 30 seconds buffering time and 7 seconds of watching. This sort of forced me to go to bed pretty early as I hate all the slow and non-functioning electronic appliances that are supposed to help your life.
